Use following command:
echo "flush_all" | nc 127.0.0.1 11211
Hi – Thanks for this. Is there any way to get nc to exit immediately it’s flushed the cache?
echo “flush_all” | nc -c localhost 11211
will close netcat immediately after flushing the cache.

” | nc localhost 11211
for elder, bourne shell or:
echo -e “flush_all\nquit\n” | nc localhost 11211
